Chase Paymentech Canada’s pathetic POS terminals

Don’t go for the awful POS terminals by Chase Paymentech Canada for your business. There are many merchants who relied and invested on the POS terminal services of the company. But to be honest and precise the POS systems are not at all up to the mark. Compared to the prices, the devices are not of that standard. There are many such small business owners who thought that the devices must be good as marketed. But they suffered like anything.

Most of the transactions failed to complete within the real-time. There have been security breaches in customer accounts trivial printing issues. As mentioned, the wireless and wired POS terminals are connected with cell phone networks but after a certain point the connection fails, postponing the transaction. All these issues prove that the quality and standard of the expensive POS terminals offered by the Chase Paymentech Canada are not at all trustworthy and business friendly.

Unskilled Support Staff

If you’ve signed an agreement with Chase Paymentech Canada then just wait till you have a technical crisis! These guys are unbelievably slow in reacting to emergency calls.

Our entire payment processing system came to a standstill because there was a server problem. The least these guys could have done was to drop an email and warn us, especially since they had anticipated the problem in advance.

We called the support desk almost 20 times to get a complaint registered and inquire as to what was going on? The executives were so queer; they could not understand what we were saying! We had to escalate the issue to senior personnel.

The junior guys it seems have good English communication skills. Period! Do not try and discuss technical glitches with them. Meanwhile you can imagine the extent of business loss, considering the fact that we have a grocery outlet in a busy area!

Service providers such as Chase Paymentech should understand and appreciate that a service support such as theirs will have to deal with technical complaints, What then is the logic of putting a tech-illiterate exec to attend emergency phone calls?

Be Careful While Signing Up With Chase Payment tech

Well! If you are planning to enter into an agreement with Chase Payment tech please, and really! Please read through the fine print on the contract. Understand the payment terms very carefully. Trust me things aren’t as simple as they look! Ask questions, however silly they may seem. Clarify each and every point, especially when it comes to the service charges and merchant account set up terms. Be sure to understand the contract termination clauses.
Basically, ensure that you read the service contract – A to Z. Why am I so hyper about Chase Payment tech? Well! My story is very short. I had signed up with them for a POS service 2 years ago. Things were fine till a friend suggested I was paying an exorbitant service rate for the merchant account with Chase.
Naturally that got me thinking, after all a businessman’s first thought is to get quality service at lower rates. And when there are other providing the same service at a competitive rate, why subscribe to an expensive service.
I decided to shift my account with another provider and initiated the contract cancellation process. That is when I was told I’d have to pay a cancellation fee. When I protested and claimed that I wasn’t informed about it when signing the contract, they accused me of not having read the FINE PRINT!

Chase Payment Canada – Don’t believe all you hear!

I heard such good things about Chase Payment Canada that I got in touch with them immediately when I decided to change from my current POS service provider to a new one. What an infernal mistake! Am still regretting my decision!

Almost as though I jumped from the fire to the frying pan! They have such a positive name in the market that I was under the impression that switching to them will solve my problem. They are a very large organization, in fact a banking enterprise that offers payment processing services as well.

They work with more than a thousand customers and have very few negative reviews online. You can imagine how encouraged I felt? They send me an inflated bill at the very beginning of our association. Most people associated with the service provider advised that it may have been a mistake; and that I should approach the customer service forum. So I duly tried getting in touch with the executives. The term’ frustration’ is an understated emotion, if only I could describe what I felt then.

When I did get to speak with a representative, she was so rude and uncooperative that I felt as though I had reached a dead end. Finally I managed to get in touch with senior personnel who helped me address the issue.

Online Fraud Prevention of Chase Paymentech Canada is Fake

Chase Paymentech Canada claims to offer excellent support to prevent any kind of online fraud. But things are different here. One of close colleagues suffered like anything. I am not willing to reveal his personal identity in this post. He transacted via mobile banking and exposed to a horrific experience. His personal details were hacked and the total amount was transferred by unknown source. The sales executive demonstrated various tools to secure he account details, but it actually didn’t work. Besides, when we called the customer care executive, there was no response from there.

It was a transaction from Visa and we actually traumatized by the nightmarish event. Guys, please beware of this Canadian payment processor. May be they have executed various protection services, but it actually didn’t work. The account certification services, card security verification, Payment Brand Data Security are said to some of their most efficient tools to prevent online security. My friend used all these techniques to take proper precautions, but was brutally disappointed by the payment processor. Later we complained in the CC, but they also confused use with irrelevant information. It’s being almost three months we haven’t yet tracked the debauchers. So please beware of the online frauds!
